First and foremost, we want to thank all of you who attended our Chateau Sonoma French Flea Market this year! It was an amazing Memorial Day weekend filled with delicious cuisine, music, an abundance of vintage and antique finds, beautiful people and a way for us to give back to the community.
Frenchie was there with their adorable Citroen providing baguette sandwiches which sold out faster than they could have imagined. Cochon Volant provided delicious barbecued sausages tucked in a baguette with an array of French moutarde to choose from, and his french fries were the absolute best we have ever had. Not too many people knew about Rob’s chocolate mousse, but be sure to save room for that delight next year! Oh and last but not least Marie Macaroons!
Michel Michelis is the heart of our event– he has been with us since the beginning playing his french barrel organ and belting out French classics all day long. Arabelle was in our French 75 bar entertaining the crowds and singing all of her favorites Edith Piaf style.
We set the stage and brought together all of the best french antique dealers we could find–including Elsie Green, Atelier de Campagne, Patine and Grenoille–and the rest was all about you, our customers, who came out to support our soirée. We appreciate your patience (with the line), your enthusiasm and your business–we would not be able to do what we do without you!
We also want to thank all of you for buying tickets online as we donated 50% of proceeds from online tickets sales as promised. $1500 went to the Sonoma Valley Mentoring Alliance and $2000 to Face to Face Sonoma!
We hope you enjoy these photos of this year’s event captured by Jenna Coughlan!
