Planning mode has officially set in for our 16th annual French Flea Market on Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-26) and we can hardly wait! The event will be held at Cornerstone Sonoma again this year and we look forwarding to sharing with you our creation of a real French flea market right here in Sonoma.

For the past 16 years we have invited our dear friends, who happen to be our favorite vendors, to come together for what has been called by many “the best French flea market in America”. Our intention was to recreate the experience we have in France when we travel to the larger markets in Avignon, Montpelier and Bezier. These antique markets in France are held there four times a year and the experience is exhilarating as dealers from all over the world attend in search of treasures for their interior design clients, antique shops and homes. Once all of the frenetic buying happens, everyone heads to the bar where beer and rosé is flowing as early as 10 am, and the smell of sausages and French fries wafting in the air is intoxicating. We’ve enjoyed this experience in France so much that we decided to bring it home to share with all of you.

We are excited to welcome vendors Elsie Green, Atelier de Campagne, Williams Antiks, Patine and Grenoille (to name a few!). Hosted again at Cornerstone Sonoma, the atmosphere is sure to be festive and lively with rosé and French 75’s flowing, Michel Michelis playing his 19th century barrel organ and Arabelle singing her heart out Edith Piaf style. We also will be serving French fare and there will be fun for the entire family!

Expect to find an extraordinary mix of vintage antiques and furnishings, home decor, tabletop, vintage linens and so much more. The hope the experience will export you to the French countryside and the Joie de Vivre will unfold before you. Grab your tickets and we’ll see you there!
