Supporting local artisans and their exceptional crafts will always be an important part of the Chateau Sonoma story and we hope we can always encourage others to do the same.

Another special maker who will be joining us on November 24th goes by the name of Austin Press—a small letterpress and design studio based in San Francisco. Austin Press is unique in that it specializes in ephemera—things that exist or are used or enjoyed for only a short time. Offering products from exclusive stationery to hand-poured candles, Austin Press’ pieces, while sometimes temporary, always leave the best impressions.

With an art background rooted first in photography, proprietor Kimberly Austin founded Austin Press in 2004 while on the hunt for a new medium. After stumbling upon the letterpress, Austin Press was born and her collection has expanded to include products like handcrafted soaps, perfumes and paper goods designed in-house. With the entire collection made right in her San Francisco studio, Kimberly has created each and every Austin Press piece to ooze with personal touch and old world charm. Whether cotton papers, nuanced perfumes, apothecary or candles, every from Austin Press is incredibly memorable for quality and craftsmanship.
