Fall is our favorite time of year here at the Chateau farm. Harvest is in full swing and we are bringing together our favorite fall tabletop decor to prepare for seasonal gatherings with friends and family.
Fall in Sonoma is filled with excitement and the whole town is buzzing with people coming to town to experience the harvesting of the grapes. It is one of the most beautiful times of year here, when the leaves are changing color and vibrant yellow and orange hues flood the valley. Nature is a big inspiration for us at Chateau Sonoma and we have found lots of way to incorporate what we see in nature into our fall tabletop decor.
This year we are going with bold colors. We love these vibrant napkins that set the tone and add a fun pop of color for our fall tablescape and are a brighter orange than any pumpkins we’ve seen! The are made from a chunky linen and wash like a dream!
Paired with our signature Carter and Co stoneware with its smokey, white glaze and matte finish, it makes for a beautiful table setting. Let’s not forget the wine and the wine glass by a glass company that has been around in France since the 14th century. The Perigord from La Rochere is our absolute favorite glass and a staple for all occasions. Also, since it’s all about the details, we love our intentionally mismatched vintage silverware that we simply never tire of!
Our top picks and favorites for our fall tabletop decor:
1) Bold napkins
2) Carter and Company Stoneware
2) Vintage French silverware
In sticking to our theme we have also integrated a few elements from the outdoors. Many of you know Terry Wicks, our styling guru, who loves to forage for unusual things to bring into the shop and incorporate into her displays. She was foraging at the farm and brought in herbs from the garden (white sage and thyme) and put them into vintage terra cotta pots that make for amazing tabletop decor.
We didn’t have too many pumpkins at the Farm this year so we sourced some beautiful ones from Bee Well Farms. They had quite a selection this year and we used the largest one of the bunch as our main attraction for our fall tabletop!
We wish you a warm fall season surrounded by beauty and all of the things you love. And we would love to hear about what you love most about fall in the comments below!
